VACE Webinar: “Becoming a SUPERvisor: Tips for Meaningful & Effective Supervising”

Date: Wednesday, January 26th
Time: 1:00pm-2:00pm EST

Description: In this session, we will discuss tips and strengths necessary for the transition from a team member to a supervisor. Navigating this process often pushes individuals into totally new responsibilities and supervising employees with whom they had been co-workers previously. Understanding the extent of your new role and potentially different work dynamics can be difficult while learning what it's like to be in a new position. By attending this session, participants will learn:
  • What skills are beneficial to have and develop as a new supervisor
  • How this transition differs between internal and external promotion
  • Tactics for managing and coping with imposter syndrome
