I thought it was the best conference I have been to! I think a lot of it has to do with the ability to network and discuss. One of the breakouts I went to dealt with the changing face of career services, and because the facilitators made it a discussion session it was extremely valuable.

Overall, this networking is the best part of VACE.


This was one of the best conferences I've been to. It was so well organized and flowed so well. The thought that went into the activities and the value added by participating in those activities was stellar. Really enjoyed the dinner and reception afterwards. It's nice that we share our professional knowledge and bond as friends and colleagues as well.


After attending the conference I am definitely considering volunteering for one of the committees.

The registration fee is $250 for current members, $375 for non-members, and $100 for students.

Registration is currently open. Registration deadline is April 2, 2012.

Refunds will only be processed if cancellation requests are received by April 9, 2012.

The cut-off date to make reservations for the VACE room block is April 2, 2012.

The cost per room in the block is $165 per night for single or double occupancy.

Present at the Conference:

Call for Programs 

The deadline to submit a proposal to present at the conference is March 16, 2012.

Program proposals will be reviewed and decisions will be made by March 30, 2012.

Awards:

Nominate a colleague for a VACE Award! The deadline for nominations is March 9, 2012.

Sponsorships:

Names of sponsors and donations will be recognized on the VACE web site, in the newsletter and throughout the Annual Conference, including at specific sponsorship events/activities.
