VACE Webinar: "Workflow & Project Management Tools"
Learn how to use project management tools to streamline your work and collaborate more effectively within a team. The presenters will share how you can use the project management tools Trello and Airtable as you plan large-and small-scale events, collaborative projects, and manage student work.  In addition, learn how to empower students to integrate these tools into their own work and job search process.  
Presenters:
  • Jodi Schneiderman, Assistant Director of Employer Relations & Industry Advising (Health, Science, and Technology), Cawley Career Education Center, Georgetown University
    • Bio: Jodi (they/she) is currently the Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Industry Advising for the health, sciences, and technology sectors. She has worked in higher education for over 15 years, including at the University of Colorado at Boulder and SUNY Potsdam. Prior to working in higher education, Jodi worked as a Change Management Specialist at Harley-Davidson Motor Company and as a therapist for a residential treatment center. She has a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology and an additional master’s degree in community counseling.    
  • Amanda Friday, Assistant Director of Education, Cawley Career Education Center, Georgetown University
    • Bio: Amanda (they/she) is currently the Assistant Director for Curricular Integration at Georgetown University's career center. Prior to Georgetown, Amanda earned their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master of Arts in counseling from George Washington University. They are currently completing their Doctor of Philosophy in counseling with a focus on athletic retirement, career narratives during transition, and social justice from the George Washington University. Amanda also teaches undergraduate career courses at Georgetown University and is an adjunct professor at George Washington University. They have a passion for creating communities, teaching students and clients ways to discover meaningful work, empowering and lifting up the voices of historically marginalized communities, and decolonizing career and therapy
